4 Beauty Products that Positively Changed My Life

March 17, 2022

There’s no way to know the number of endless products I’ve tried; I love trying new things as I think beauty products are getting better year after year, and I don’t want to settle for this product and wonder if that product is better (also known as FOMO). I’ve come across products that don’t make it to the 2nd use, and some are “now and then” products. Then we have those that have earned a permanent spot in my routine; that means they have done their job and positively changed my life.

Jar of Lawless Overnight Lip Mask

Lawlesss Forget The Filler Overnight Lip Plumping Mask-I’m always on the hunt for a lip treatment that will actually combat the dryness and lines that have developed with age. My lips have always been dry and flaky, and I have tried lip masks from drug stores to luxury, but nothing has ever worked. Until now, that is. I only recently discovered this gem, and I already won’t be without it. This is the mask that all lips dream of.

Tube of L'occitane Shea Butter Intensive Hand Balm

L’occitane Shea Butter Intensive Hand Balm-I developed “hand eczema” about a year and a half ago, brought on by stress. My dermatologist gave me lotion samples and a steroid cream to use as needed for “flareups.” The cream calmed it but didn’t heal it. So I decided to try this L’occitane cult favorite on a whim, and WOW! Within four days, there wasn’t even a sign of eczema, and it’s never been back. I use it faithfully every night before bed and won’t close my eyes without bathing my hands in this shea butter gold.

Tube of Revitalash Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner and Serum and tube of Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner and Serum

Revitabrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner & Serum-After a lifetime of over-plucking my eyebrows, they were getting extremely sparse, like “where are my eyebrows?” kind of sparse! I applied it to my brows every night before bed, and within about two months, I had eyebrows again. Due to those unbelievable results, I also purchased Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner and Serum to see if I could get the same outcome for my eyelashes, and I am beyond impressed! The number one question I get asked is  “where do you get your eyelashes done?” or “are your eyelashes real?”. I have to trim my brows and eyelashes now and continue to use these twice a week for maintenance.

Bottle of Davines Naturaltech Energizing Shampoo and bottle of Davines Naturaltech Energizing Superactive Serum

Davines Naturaltech Energizing Shampoo- I’ve noticed excessive hair fallout in the last five years, especially in the shower; my hair has always been “fine” to start with, so I can’t afford to let it get any thinner. Because of this, I’m always looking for something to prevent or assist with thinning hair. I’ve tried several products that claim to prevent it, but I haven’t seen results with any of them; in fact, some seemed to make more hair fall out. However, I see considerably less fallout when I use this shampoo along with their Energizing Superactive Serum. Davines products are phenomenal, and it doesn’t hurt that they smell divine.

I know that “these four beauty products positively changed my life” sounds dramatic, but it’s true. They made my life easier, and they solved a problem. I’m usually out sifting through products looking for the next best thing, but when it comes to these treasures, well, they just can’t be replaced.
